This is a group for Mature Lesbians in the Highland Lakes Area getting to know each other for fun adult activities, support and good conversation. I started this group because it is hard to make friends with mutual interests in these smaller communities because we are so spread out. So lets get together and have some fun!

We're a social/support group for Lesbian families. We aim to meet once a month to get together, socialize, and let the kids have a good time, too. Our kids benefit from knowing other families like theirs. We started this group after belonging to a similar one in Austin- we met new friends and felt a strong sense of community.Please not that this is NOT a religiously affiliated group- we welcome people from all religions!

I believe the Gay, Lesbian, Bi, Trans, Queer, and Ally (LGBTQA) population has a large need for a more active parenting group in the Austin Area. We need a group that is inclusive of our families and that includes our strong allies and their families.  As LGBTQA people who have or hope to have children, both older and younger, we need to socialize and make friends with not only our straight allies but also to have other "family" friends.  We need to involve the people around us, our allies, our …
